Maria Pina Bentivenga was born in 1973 in Stigliano - Italy, where she achieved the Teacher-Training School Diploma in 1990.

In 1991 she moved to Rome to begin her artistic studies at Rome Academy of Fine Arts - Painting department.

Her approach to engraving and printmaking started in 1993 under the leadership of Duilio Rossoni.

Since 2003 she is a member of the Incisori Veneti Association.

She teaches Graphical Special Techniques at Rome University of Fine Arts.
