Obsessive Hole
Installation of twelve sheets, exhibited in the exhibition Immediati dintorni.
The image of the “illuminating arbitrariness” seems to materialize and take form, becoming visible and solid matter. The light/mark relationship takes on the pattern of a stellar vortex: “Two swirling arms traversed by bands of dark dust,” as the galaxy NGC 3583 is described, carving the sheet and creating a space of full depth.
